Administration of Sergiev Posad glass factory visited ZMT LLC
Sergiev Posad Glass Factory (SPGF LLC) has been specializing in the production of high-quality glass packaging for several decades already. Their product portfolio comprises packaging for coffee, juices, fruit-and-vegetable preserved products, beer and distilled beverages. The foodstuffs and distilled beverages packed in glass of SPGF LLC can be found everywhere in Russia and abroad.
At the same time, Plant of Microelectronic Technologies (ZMT LLC) is among those manufacturers responsible for quality control of glass packaging produced by SPGF LLC. Sergiev Posad glass manufacturers use thickness gauges for non-ferromagnetic materials IT-1-01, machine for testing glass packaging for slipping UIS-S.

General Director of Sergiev Posad Glass Factory Yu.P. Razumov with colleagues visited ZMT LLC on 09.10.2025 in the frameworks of extending cooperation between both companies. In the course of negotiations with Director of ZMT LLC S.N. Vershinin, he pointed out the significance of efforts from the side of Izhevsk company aimed at creating new equipment for glass industry. Even in the USSR era, our country depended in this field on imported equipment, in particular, glass forming machines were mainly supplied from Czechoslovakia. And this dependence is still kept today – sometimes the necessary imported equipment has to be waited for more than a year.

From his part, S.N. Vershinin assured Yu.P. Razumov that ZMT LLC planed to annually launch new devices, units and machines for glass factories to the market. Therefore, the visit to Shop 567 was arranged for the representatives of SPGF LLC for them to see with their own eyes new pieces of equipment, such as two-position machine for testing glass packaging by hydrostatic pressure UIS-GD2P, laboratory-type inspection machines MILT-1, machine for testing glass packaging for water resistance UIS-V, etc.
Yu.P. Razumov highly valued the technical infrastructure and technological level of ZMT LLC, expressed the need in activating the development of the multifunctional inspection machine MIM-1, with the help of which glass manufacturers would be able to monitor critical defects of glass packaging. At the moment, all Russian glass factories are using French, German or Chinese equipment for this, and the emergence of domestic alternative is very topical.

In the end of the visit, the parties shook hands again and plotted certain collaboration trends for the near future.
