Plant of Microelectronic Technologies Participated in International Forum of glass industry

The 26th annual International Forum “Glass and Modern Technologies — XXI” took place in Moscow on December 11, 2025. It is an important sectorial event of glass industry in Russia and CIS. This sectorial project is aimed at activating the exchange of experience between the company leaders, promoting new technologies to the Russian market as well as the advanced experience in glass manufacturing and processing.

Plant of Microelectronic Technologies (ZMT LLC) has been a participant of this forum for many years already and annually presented its new developments in the field of measuring and testing equipment to control the glass packaging quality.

It was pointed out during the event that the Russian glass market was growing from year to year and the production volumes were going up. For example, 5.6 billion pieces of glass packaging were manufactured in Russia in 1999, and in 2024 this amount increased up to 14.6 billion pieces. Apparently, these products must be controlled, they must conform to the highest quality standards, and end consumers must have only positive emotions after using them.

The task of quality control of glass packaging is solved with the help of measuring and testing equipment produced by ZMT LLC. This equipment has been manufactured in Izhevsk for nearly a quarter of the century. The year 2025 was marked with new developments presented by the representative of ZMT LLC Evgeny Elizarov. He informed leaders of glass factories about launching the mass production of two-position machines for testing glass packaging by hydrostatic pressure UIS-GD2P, laboratory-type inspection machines MILT-1, about the progress in developing thickness gauge for hot-dip coating IT-GP, inspection machines for monitoring quality of glass packaging MIT-1, MIVD-1, MIM-1.

The audience was highly interested in the presented information. The forum also provided a platform for a number of negotiations covering the supply of new equipment of ZMT LLC to Russian glass factories. For instance, one of the manufacturers from Vladimir region requested the technical specification and commercial offer for MILT-1 supply.
